L’île aux oiseaux

Île aux Oiseaux is a small island located in the French town of La Teste-de-Buch in the center of the Arcachon basin.
Among the various hypotheses, it would be either an old sandbank, or the remains of a high dune forged by the wind and the sea currents whose base would have fixed on its current location over time.

The ornithological park

The Teich Ornithological Reserve is a preserved natural space, designed to welcome wild birds and encourage their observation by the public. 110 hectares of afforestation, reed beds, meadows, maritime marshes and lagoons are distributed from the continental sector to the maritime shores of the Arcachon basin.

Le domaine de certes
